Introducing our DeWitt PT Strong + Capable Spine Series!
This 12-class series is designed for those with chronic low back pain that feel like they can’t quite get back to the life they want to live.
Utilizing a mix of education around pain science and body mechanics, general flexibility, core activation, and strength and metabolic conditioning, we help participants build confidence in their body’s resilience and capabilities and get back to being awesome in a small group setting developed and coached by Physical Therapists from DeWitt PT.
As Physical Therapists, we know how limiting injuries, especially low back pain, can be. We also know how beneficial and important movement and exercise is to returning to a full and active lifestyle. We see it all the time in the clinic and the research continuously supports it. But what we see is people getting stuck in the chronic pain loop and not being able to physically or mentally feel like they can join a general fitness class where they will build the strength and confidence they need.
Ultimately, we believe confidence and belief in our capabilities and resilience, along with understanding pain and a safe and efficacious training program, is what will help people get back to their active and fulfilling lifestyles.
Here at DeWitt PT, we have successfully transitioned people into training environments, from yoga to CrossFit, over the last 12 years. Now we want to open this training experience to everyone in our Santa Cruz Community looking to bridge the gap from chronic pain back to living an active life.
